Leisure-net launches active-net Australasia
Leading industry insight specialist, Leisure-net Solutions is set to launch active-net Australasia on 29 October at the Fitness Australia Symposium, attended by 150 of the top Australian health and fitness names.
The event, which will bring together operators from across Australia and New Zealand for a business-focused networking event and high level business-skills workshops, will take place in Melbourne on 20th and 21st July 2016, and is partnered and supported by Fitness Australia, the national peak industry association.
Lauretta Stace, CEO of Fitness Australia says: “We want the fitness industry to make better connections for a stronger, well-connected and effective industry. That’s why we’re bringing this one-to-one networking series to Australia.”
Similar to the UK event, which is now in its second year, active-net Australasia will comprise of 16 one-to-one business meetings between suppliers and operators, as well as a networking lunch and dinner and an educational thread with a keynote speaker and workshops, including an industry leaders’ question and answer panel.

We have had a great initial reaction from Australian operators and suppliers, but also companies from the UK who have attended our UK event and are exploring cost effective ways to expand into the Australian and New Zealand markets.”
Places are available for 50 suppliers and 50 operators and, as with the UK event, active-net Australasia will be free for senior managers/directors to attend, thanks to the generous support of leading suppliers in the sector.
