YOUR Personal Training create Hyperice Recovery Hub for Waterside Hotel and Leisure Club

YOUR Personal Training (YPT), the UK’s largest PT management company, has created a dedicated recovery hub for members of the Waterside Hotel and Leisure Club.

The hub, which has been created in an unused corridor space, brings Hyperice’s specialist recovery products to its members, aiding warm up and recovery times pre and post physical activity, as well as helping people to move more freely.

The Waterside’s recovery zone consists of four mats with two slimline Hyperice charging stations, with each containing two Hypervolt 2 cordless percussion handheld massage guns, two Vyper 2.0 vibrating rollers, two Hypersphere deep massage ballsglobes and a separate Zero Gravity Hyperice Chair, as well as an informative ‘how to’ instruction poster.  The equipment needs no preparation, no ice and no cords, and operates using percussion, air compression and vibration, giving muscles relief.

James Lorey, Operations Director at YPT explains: “We’ve created a new and specialist recovery zone in an unused space that wasn’t suitable for bulky fitness machines. We are passionate that customers of the Waterside Hotel and Leisure Club have a transformative and positive experience, every time they visit, and the recovery hub takes this to the next level, enabling us to integrate recovery into our overall offer to the club, as part of our strategic partnership with Hyperice.

“We have upskilled our PT’s with a specialist CIMSPA-endorsed CPD in warm up and recovery, educating them on the importance of recovery and how to get the best out of Hyperice technology. Our PT’s are then empowered to run ‘recovery workshops’ for their PT clients and the wider gym community at the club.

“Our PT’s tell us that incorporating a recovery session in their offer differentiates their services from other fitness providers, as members are intrigued and excited by the recovery zone. It also gives our PT’s a new way to engage and get chatting to potential new clients.”

YOUR Personal Training and Hyperice will be rolling out the recovery hub offer to more operator partners, putting recovery front and central to their overall wellbeing vision.

Alice Hulley, Leisure Director, Waterside Hotel and Leisure Club says: “Recovery technology is no longer just for professional and elite athletes; it has every day benefits for our customers.  We know our members have enjoyed learning about the benefits of Hyperice from the YPT personal trainers’ free workshops, and are actively using the equipment both pre and post work outs.  For us, the Hyperice Recovery Hub ticks all the boxes; it is adding value to an unused space, our customers feel valued by the investment, and it also generates a further secondary spend, as we additionally sell Hyperice products to our customers to use at home.”
