Precor to launch Spinner® Bikes at International Fitness Showcase

Leading fitness equipment supplier and manufacturer Precor will be launching three new Spinner® bikes to the indoor cycling market at the Spinning Showcase, part of the International Fitness Showcase (IFS) in Blackpool.

Featuring a Spinning Theatre Bar with classes for all, a Spinning Lecture Room and Spinning workshops the IFS event will be held from 18th to 20th March at the Winter Gardens.

Uniting more than 20 years’ experience of indoor cycling from Spinning with Precor’s history of reliability and personalisation, the Spinner® series is designed to ride like an outdoor road bike, with geometry and adjustments to suit a wide range of riders while providing a personalised experience. The three bikes are the Spinner® RIDE, the Spinner® SHIFT and the Spinner® RALLY.

First available to the market is the Spinner RALLY, a top-of-the range performance bike. The RALLY includes brand new engineering and design components featuring an aluminium frame, a solid fit and feel and show stopping aesthetics.

For operators wanting to increase their indoor cycle offering the Spinner SHIFT is designed to suit any level rider, with the Spinner RIDE offering clubs a starting point, entry-level bike.

Key aspects of all three new bikes include a 43lb perimeter weighted flywheel to help give each Spinner a signature feel of smooth, fluid motion and narrow pedal spacing to improve the experience and performance. In addition, a large easy-to-see and use colour contrasted resistance knob provides an effortless, wide range of adjustments, delivering resistance directly to the flywheel through the resistance shaft.

Other features include a 5-degree handlebar rise to ensure comfort in all hand positions for any size of user, as well as an adjustable seat enabling a precise and exact fit for each rider. To increase strength and wear, a Morse Taper (threadless) connection is fitted to the patented pedals where they attach to the crank arm.

Specific design qualities of the Spinner® RALLY include an aluminium rounded tubing frame to help shed sweat and provide greater corrosion resistance, along with rubber guard protected rear stabilisers and frame to improve reliability and prevent scratches when riders stretch calves.

Each bike can also be fitted with an easy-to-read Spinning Studio console presenting the latest Spinning console technology, which automatically pairs with any ANT+™ compatible heart rate monitor. The console also features a large backlit display indicating cadence (pedal RPM), heart rate/pulse, time, distance and calories, along with a low battery indicator.
