Precor signs distributor agreement with Nordome Fitness
Precor has partnered with Nordome Fitness AS to distribute fitness equipment to the Norwegian market.
Nordome Fitness AS is a new company specialising in the health and fitness industry, offering a consultative approach to running a fitness business; and is already working with SATS Elixia, Norway’s largest health club operator to supply staff training and equipment service and maintenance.
Precor has been delivering high quality fitness equipment to the Norwegian market for more than 20 years, and the partnership will enable Precor to deliver a more focussed and personalised service to its customers in Norway.
Nordome Fitness AS’s owning partners, Reinhold Dissauer and Jens Petter Kjos, have extensive experience within the fitness industry. Reinhold Dissauer has worked in fitness equipment sales within the Swedish market for 20 years, whilst Jens Petter Kjos, has worked in fitness equipment sales within the Norwegian industry for 10 years, as well as four years in after sales service.
Jens Petter Kjos said: “There is growing competition for facilities in the region, and because we understand health club operations we can assist them with consultancy and project management right across their core business. It’s not just about equipment, but everything from design, fit out, servicing and financing to the attraction and retention of members as well. The partnership with Precor will facilitate this, so that operators working with us can concentrate on fair pricing for their members and additional services to help increase secondary spend.”
