Precor launches free Master Coach workouts to support operators during COVID-19 pandemic

Leading equipment manufacturer and supplier, Precor, has delivered a series of solutions to help operators engage with their members throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The measures include a series of Master Trainer home workout videos along with online advice pages that operators can share with their Personal Trainers and with their members.

Steve Carter, MD for Precor UK says: “We know your members’ health and safety is your number one priority, and so want to ensure that you and your Personal Trainers can maintain a top-class customer experience during these challenging times. The workouts and useful resources will help keep your members on track and ready to step straight back into your gym when it reopens.

“Our content library offers free-of-charge resources to help them maintain their health and wellness routine, including home workouts, fitness tips and mindset and nutrition advice. As well as information for Personal Trainers, there is a simple guide to engaging with members via social media and advice on products and guidance for deep cleaning health and fitness facilities.”

The first of these solutions is a Wellness Guide for members, Personal Trainers and fitness instructors, available here: precor.com/en-gb/resources/maximise-your-health-and-wellness-home.

The collection of content aims to help members stay active whilst at home and provide advice for PTs to optimise clients’ programmes during this period.

Furthermore, the free of charge online home workouts are being offered directly to customers to share with their members, to help encourage staying active and healthy whilst at home.

Carter continues:

“Our organisation is guided by a set of principles and core values, The Precor Creed, which states: We believe in the power of the human spirit, and we believe that tomorrow will be even better because of our actions today. Both personally and professionally we are all facing unprecedented challenges, and now, more than ever, we have the ability to prove these statements true.

“The fitness industry plays a massive part in the country’s collective well-being and we are saddened this terrible virus has led to health clubs and leisure centres temporarily closing their doors. In a bid to support these businesses and their members in this challenging environment, Precor has committed to deliver solutions to help exercisers stay connected and engaged with fitness.”
