New white label fitness platform enables clubs to offer bespoke online services
A new, white label online fitness platform has launched, enabling health club operators, instructors and Personal Trainers to offer live streaming at the touch of a button, as well as pre-recorded training sessions and group exercise classes, all branded as their own.
The easy-to-use, low-cost web- and mobile web-based platform is already being used by more than 45 health clubs across the UK, including London’s Roehampton Club, The Marlow Club and The Health Club Collection.
It can be set up in just a few hours and includes 50 pre-loaded training sessions, so operators can start offering their own branded virtual content straight away. What’s more, its comprehensive, built-in reporting dashboard allows operators to gather valuable membership data and insight, which can’t be obtained via Facebook Live or Zoom.
Richard Thorpe, Managing Director of the Pavilion Club says: “The Pavilion Club brand is important to both our reputation and our customers. Being able to brand the platform as the Pavilion Club made our communications and content feel authentic and recognisable. Being able to use our own expert instructors to deliver the classes also helps with customer engagement and keeps our members in touch with our staff, who are the heart and soul of any health club.”
The platform is the brainchild of Lee Booth, Founder and CEO of global tech company Venueserve. The company, which has a well-established reputation within the ticketing and sports membership sector, is taking its first steps into the fitness industry. Booth says: “Venueserve Fitness gives operators the tools to offer a branded virtual membership, whether that’s as a free, ‘nice to have’ for existing members, up sold as an additional bolt on virtual membership or sold separately as a subscription-based online membership package for those who aren’t ready to visit a gym.
“With gyms now closed for a second lockdown and Covid-19 restrictions looking long-term, our platform provides a hand-holding service, so that, literally at the touch of a button, instructors can live-stream their class or session. The simplicity of Venueserve Fitness means no one has to miss out, and the pre-recorded content means there’s plenty to choose from for every type of club and every type of member.”
The backend reporting and payment system also means the app can be used by Personal Trainers or instructors, such as yoga teachers, who can use the subscribe, data capture function as their own CRM system.
Live-streaming is unlimited and each session is saved to the platform and categorised so it can be played again and again. The instructor simply uses their phone (via an app) to live-stream to Venueserve Fitness’s servers and from there it is sent to the club’s own branded streaming site, which looks and feels like the club’s normal website. Fresh pre recorded content is also uploaded to the platform every week.
Thorpe continues: “Venueserve Fitness allows us to provide a ‘gym at home’ experience, simply, cost effectively and effortlessly. Our live classes are an excellent way to allow potential new members to try out our sessions and meet our team, without committing to a full membership. We are now in the position to be able to sell virtual memberships as a stand-alone product, making the Pavilion Club available to more people, anywhere and at any time.”
Prices start from £1 per member using the platform, per month and operators and PTs can choose to give this free, as an additional benefit to all or selective existing members/clients, up sell as a bolt on to their current membership or charge a virtual membership fee.
