New look Impulse Leisure Chanctonbury opens its doors to the public

Work will soon be complete at Impulse Leisure’s Chanctonbury centre in Storrington, West Sussex, which has undergone a full redevelopment. The leisure centre will be officially opened to the public at 7pm on Tuesday 2nd December. A VIP tour will begin at 6pm with a special appearance by Sally Gunnel OBE.

The extensive work has included building a brand new, extended fitness suite, which has been fully equipped by Technogym and includes the functional training equipment, Kinesis. This links to a new changing village.

The new health suite includes a sauna and steam room, which is an interchangeable salt room. Salt rooms have been proven to relieve respiratory issues, improve skin conditions like eczema and acne, and strengthen the immune system through the production of negative ions.

Customers can also relax after their workouts in the new-look Coffee Republic café and try out the new sports hall.

Jez Charlton, who manages Impulse Leisure Chanctonbury, says: “We are very excited about welcoming members and potential members to the new-look Chanctonbury on 2nd December. The work has been carried out successfully and we are looking forward to hearing our customers’ feedback on the changes.”
