Lifetime Training wins four awards in a week

National training provider Lifetime Training has scooped four prestigious national awards in the past few days, on top of organising a successful internal Lifetime Learner Achievement Awards ceremony in London.

The company won Best Use of Technology, Large Training Provider of the Year and Apprenticeship Provider of the Year awards at the UK Active Training Awards 2015 as well as winning a Silver trophy for Best use of Social & Collaborative Learning Technologies/Best Online Distance Learning Programme award at the eLearning Awards.

The Active Training Awards celebrate exceptional performance and commitment in the Physical Activity sector, specifically that of vocational education, training and development. Following three months of assessment, the gala dinner on 26 November 2015 was organised by ukActive and CIMSPA.

The eLearning Awards were judged by a panel of 35, co-ordinated by The eLearning Network and chaired by Tony Frascina. The panel was faced with reviewing over 400 international entries across 19 categories and finally shortlisted 145 finalists after a series of presentations.

Alex Khan, CEO of Lifetime Training, said: “It has been a big year for Lifetime Training. Not only did we celebrate 20 years of business, but we were also named TES FE Training Provider of the Year as well as winning ‘Partnership of the Year’ with one of its clients, Hilton Worldwide, at the People 1st Apprenticeship Awards.

“Scooping these additional awards is the icing on the cake. Lifetime Training has been successful in creating a number of new employer partnerships this year, equating to 3,000 new apprentices. This adds significantly to our already broad portfolio of offerings that sees over 20,000 learners a year go through one of more of our programmes,”

Nigel Wallace, Client Services Director at Lifetime Training, added: “This year has been characterised by change at Lifetime and we have developed many new strands to our programmes. Winning these awards was a huge endorsement of the direction we’re heading. It is great to receive the recognition for the hard work and dedication of our team and the brilliant partnerships we have with our clients.”
