Lifetime Appoints Head of Commercial Training for Fitness
Lifetime Training has appointed Sam Kenward as its new Head of Commercial Training for Fitness. In his new role, Sam’s focus will be on achieving the highest possible success rates and engagement levels amongst Lifetime’s self-funded Fitness learners.
Kenward joined Lifetime Training as a Senior Course Advisor in 2008. He was promoted to Commercial Development Manager in 2013, gaining experience and valuable skills during his tenure. In his previous role as Commercial Development Manager, Sam was accountable for the performance and development of both the Fitness Sales and Customer Service Teams, along with the day-to-day management and delivery of the department’s marketing plan.
Prior to joining Lifetime, Sam won a golfing and academic scholarship to attend Seton Hall University in New Jersey, USA, from which he graduated with a degree in Economics and English in 2007.
Mike Jones, Commercial Director at Lifetime Training, explained: “As a company, we are focused on providing quality training. This year Lifetime has trained over 3,000 fitness professionals and developed new innovations, including bringing our award winning PT Diploma online, providing our learners with greater flexibility and support via our Desk Based Tutor team. These new innovations we are constantly evolving require leadership from a talented and committed individual, so I’m delighted that we’ve appointed Sam to the role so that we can continue providing the best possible experience for our learners.”
Kenward added: “My objective is to lead and develop our Customer Service, Sales, Quality and Operational teams, providing them with a clear focus as to how they can make measurable, positive impacts on each stage of the Lifetime learner journey.”
Lifetime’s focus on quality and innovation recently netted them an amazing three Active Training Awards including Best Use of Technology, Large Training Provider of the Year and Apprenticeship Provider of the Year at ukactive’s 2015 event.
