Commercial Training Operations Manager appointed

Lifetime Training has appointed Mark Newman as its new Operations Manager.

As Operations Manager, Newman will lead Lifetime’s ever-expanding commercial training team, overseeing its full-time and freelance tutors who are located around the UK. The role includes responsibility for developing and driving the delivery of the quality, innovative qualifications for which Lifetime is renowned, as well as overseeing course scheduling, venue management and corporate bookings, and maintaining strong relationships with awarding bodies, external verifiers and internal quality teams.

Newman has extensive and diverse experience within the fitness sector including recent roles such as Programme Leader for the Sport and Exercise Science Courses at Petroc College, Fitness & Injury Rehabilitation Officer atDerbyshire Fire & Rescue Service and Health Promotion Specialist at NHS Telford & Wrekin.

In addition, Newman has a plethora of health and fitness based qualifications including a BA (Hons) in Sport & Recreation Development Degree. He is a qualified Personal Trainer, Cardiac Rehab and Exercise Referral instructor and has recently completed a BSc in Applied Sports Therapy.
