More than 10,000 young Londoners participated across 37 sports throughout the year. The Jubilee Trophy is awarded to the borough that accumulates the most points from the best 24 scoring competitions they have participated in across the season. This is the 12th time Bromley has won the coveted Jubilee Trophy, affirming their fantastic performances across the season.

Bromley excelled in multiple sports, with highlights including:
Gold in ParaGames Athletics
Gold in Football (U15 girls)
Gold in Cross Country (boys)
Gold in Para Games Swimming, both girls and boys.

“We are absolutely delighted to win the Jubilee trophy and be crowned LYG Champions for another year,” says Louise Hills, Sports and Events Manager for Mytime Active which is responsible for the co-ordination of Bromley’s entry into the LYG. “Our teams performed consistently well during the entire season and we are so grateful to our loyal team managers who recruit and train the players.”

The London Youth Games were founded in 1977 in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Silver Jubilee. To date, more than two million young Londoners aged seven to 17 have taken part across 37 sports – among them many well-known athletes and para-athletes including Olympians Sir Mo Farah and Christine Ohuruogu MBE, Paralympian David Weir CBE and England footballers Chloe Kelly and Raheem Sterling MBE.

With the 50th anniversary Golden Games approaching in 2027, LYG is calling on Londoners to share their stories and experiences to showcase the life-changing impact of the Games. The London Youth Games Foundation also aims to raise £5 million to celebrate this milestone and secure the Games for future generations. Find out more at londonyouthgames.org/LYG50
