Anytime Fitness Knutsford is the first site to install Queenax

The World’s largest 24 hour fitness club chain Anytime Fitness has opened in the small historical town of Knutsford. The club, which is adjacent to Tatton Park, is the first Anytime Fitness in the UK to install a Queenax functional training system.

Utilising a vacant 1st floor office block the extensively remodelled shell now features a state-of-the-art 3,650sq ft gym, showcasing a corner Queenax unit along with Precor cardio stations. including an Adaptive Motion Trainer with Open Stride, all connected with Preva networked fitness, along with Precor Vitality series strength equipment and an Icarian machine. The fitness facility also features a studio where a variety of classes will be held including holistic classes like yoga and Pilates, along with high intensity and strength classes.
Knutsford Anytime Fitness is the first leisure facility for the Hoyle family, who run a number of unrelated businesses, and will be managed by daughter Sophie Hoyle.
Sophie Hoyle, franchisee comments: “We really wanted to utilise the space as much as possible and with the demand for functional training on the increase the 2.5 sq m Queenax corner unit was a natural choice for us to include.”
Staff at the gym have already seen a keen interest in the Queenax unit and comment that ‘it’s eye catching design really captures the attention of potential customers during club tours’ and that ‘it is a real talking point among members who are eager to discover the different exercises they can do on this multi-purpose unit’.
Hoyle continues: “We chose Precor for the gym as we wanted to provide our members with high quality, innovative equipment. Their dedicated team worked with us to design the fitness suite for maximum space efficiency and they were extremely attentive to our needs and requirements. The installation went very smoothly and the after-care service has been excellent.”

The Hoyle family are keen to expand their involvement within the leisure business and plan to open at least four more Anytime Fitness gyms in the area in the near future.
The gym is open 24-hours, seven days a week and is staffed between 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 4pm Saturdays and Sundays.
