3D Visualiser joins Precor

Daniel Marques has joined leading fitness equipment manufacturer and supplier Precor in the role of 3D Visualiser.

Marques, originally from Argentina and fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, has a degree in Architecture and more than a decade of Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) artistic experience. He will be producing 3D digital content imagery and animations during the design stage of Precor proposals to help bring client sites to life.

Marques started working with computer-generated imagery in his late teens and progressed working for a local architect studio in Argentina before moving to Portugal to study for his architecture degree.

Following nine years in the architecture offices of ‘Caires Atelier’ in Portugal, where Marques contributed to various health club and sports facility projects, he became freelance, producing rendering animations and visuals for companies in Canada and Norway.

Marques comments: “I am a keen mountain biker as well as fitness enthusiast and find these activities bring a good balance between my work and private life. Working for Precor provides me with the opportunity to combine my passions for fitness and architecture and will enable me to help the team create great proposals for our clients.”

Justin Smith, Head of UK at Precor says: “We are extremely fortunate to have Daniel joining Precor. 3D imagery is now an integral part of our proposal process and with Daniel’s background in CGI, architecture and design he brings with him a wealth of experience that will strengthen the sales and marketing team.”

Marques will be based at Precor’s head office in Frimley, Surrey.
